Akshay Kumar has begun shooting for his fourth film of the year. Titled Padman, the film is a social show and will be first generation wander for Akshay's significant other Twinkle Khanna. The film will be coordinated by R. Balki.

Twinkle Khanna additionally appears to be energized for her first generation wander as she tweeted, "Thus it starts 'Cushion Man''".
Padman is said to be founded on the genuine story of Arunachalam Muruganantham. Akshay will play Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social business person from Coimbatore. Champ of Padma Shri grant, Arunachalam is the creator of a minimal effort clean cushion making machine. He has enhanced grass-pulls components for producing mindfulness about conventional unhygienic practices around monthly cycle in provincial India.
